Change is always welcomed here

We've been hinting slightly in a few blog posts about some changes and we're actually ready to release it! Our hamsters running around the wheel post was what it's been like at the studio over the last few months. We're excited to release all the changes and see what everyone thinks!

So, here's a funny story: while we were in the midst of all these changes, we looked around and realized that the two most recent additions to our studio furniture are fairly close to some of the new colors we'll be showing you. These guys don't know how important they've become.

Stay tuned over the next week or so, and bear with us if there are blips in our website or email and know that we are working on it!

Love Life Images is hiring!!

We're excited to announce that we have a new part-time position available at the studio:

We are looking for a person on a part-time basis (25 hours per week) who can sell our brand to the savvy clientele. The ideal candidate has sales experience, knowledge of the metropolitan area with a background in the wedding and/or portrait business in the DC/Baltimore area, daily client interaction, and maintaining and creating our vendor relationships. Although the main component of the job is not technical, a knowledge and skill set that includes the following is necessary; Photoshop, Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, blogging), Apple computers and all Apple software. The applicant does not need to be a photographer, but must have an understanding of digital photography. There are growth opportunities for photography within the studio, but this position is not for someone who is a photographer looking to shoot.

Happy Holidays from Love Life Images

To all our clients and colleagues, 

Thank you so much for being a part of Love Life Images this year. We are so lucky to work with such amazing people. We'll be taking a break from work to spend time with our families over the next two weeks. The studio is open today and tomorrow and will be open on December 30th, but will be closed all other days until Jan 2nd. Fox 45 News Interview Airing December 3rd during the Morning Show.

It's official!  We'll be featured on Baltimore's FOX 45 on December 3rd during the morning show for a segment on how to take better photos of your children.

Jennifer Gladstone of the station contacted Mary about doing the story a few weeks ago because Mary has photographed her children before. We were very nervous and were sure that we looked scared during the whole interview (It was crazy to be in front of a camera instead of behind) but Jennifer assured us that were did fine. The segment is scheduled to air the first week of December in the morning.

What better way to get the spotlight back on you than to show off your finished, fabulous wedding album! Our amazing album designer, Elisha Tablada can help you finish your album. As an incentive for you to get your album done, we'll send you a DVD of your wedding images IF you come in to the studio, do a design session (up to 3 hours of Elisha's undivided attention) and finalize your album within a week. Once we place the order for your album, we will send you the DVD in the mail. Please note an album design change: If your album design is not approved for binding by one-year from your wedding date, due to rising album costs, an additional fee will be applied.  Fees depend on album type.
