Day in the Life 2009. Turning the Cameras on Ourselves.

Here we go again. Yesterday, September 8th 2009, we spent the entire day documenting our own world in real, raw form sun up to the wee hours of the night. It's only fair.  So many of you have so graciously opened your hearts and souls to us over the years. So, here you go.  Our worlds in a nutshell. Click on our mugs to view the slideshow!

Day in the Life Contest!

Do you remember what your life was like one year ago today? What was your daily routine? Were you changing diapers? Planning a wedding? Working a different job? How many of those little details have already escaped your memory? 

We like to take one day every year to document our everyday lives. Ok, so maybe last year was the first year, but we've made a commitment to document our lives on one day every year to see just how much has changed. Also, to remind ourselves that every moment, no matter how mundane, is an opportunity to make a picture. We're so glad we did this last year as so much has changed for many of us. It's great for us to look back and see all the changes. 

Now please mark down September 24th!!! Because of you take a photo of your life on that day and send it to us, we will enter you in our 2nd Annual Day in the Life of Contest. We encourage you to look at the photos from our slideshows to get an idea about what kinds of photos we are looking for. We want unposed, documentary style images. We'll be posting reminders and full contest rules and prizes, so be sure to come back as the day gets closer. It's your life, so document it! (click on the photo to see the slideshow from last year)
