Love Life Images is hiring!!

We're excited to announce that we have a new part-time position available at the studio:

We are looking for a person on a part-time basis (25 hours per week) who can sell our brand to the savvy clientele. The ideal candidate has sales experience, knowledge of the metropolitan area with a background in the wedding and/or portrait business in the DC/Baltimore area, daily client interaction, and maintaining and creating our vendor relationships. Although the main component of the job is not technical, a knowledge and skill set that includes the following is necessary; Photoshop, Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, blogging), Apple computers and all Apple software. The applicant does not need to be a photographer, but must have an understanding of digital photography. There are growth opportunities for photography within the studio, but this position is not for someone who is a photographer looking to shoot.

If you know someone who is interested or for further information, please email application@lovelifeimages.com. Applicants must send a cover letter and resume to us by March 1st, 2010.

Thank you!

Jennifer and Mary

He's considered one of the top educators in the wedding industry.  But, it goes beyond that.  This tour is about how to help you define yourself both as an artist and within your business. Two very, very important componants of success in photography and in this market.

MAJOR TOPICS

* The Big Picture in a Tough Economy
* The Law of Change
* Levels of Leadership
* Best Relational Practices
* Comprehensive Branding
* Prolific Productivity
* Ultimate Fast Track Modular Micro-Systems to Streamline Your Workflow
* Resources that Ripple Beyond the Workshop
* Fast Track Shoot-Out
* Commitment: discovering what it will take for you to find guaranteed success

What others are saying:

Dane is a talented photographer, but coming from an Academic background, he’s a also fantastic teacher. But the real value is in spending time with Dane and learning to understand the core of running a REAL business for yourself. I have been in business now since 2001, and I was scribbling notes like a mad person during the workshop. What’s special about Dane is not only is he an artist, but he’s a sharp businessman. Not all photographers are like that, and if you want to make photography your business, its important to learn.

- Jules Bianchi

The Dane Sanders workshop exemplifies everything that I love about being part of this [photography]community. On top of that, just being in the same room as Dane and having access to his unique perspective on life is an experience all in its own. To spend a weekend with a such a group of supportive people, facilitated by one of the kindest most unique people I’ve ever met, was an amazing experience. The “business” part of the workshop focused on many things including: viewing your business from different perspectives, marketing, organizational skills, utilizing the tools available to photographers and so much more.

- Krista of Artessa Photography

A New Way to PUG!

The Baltimore, MD based PUG (Pictage User Group) did things a little different this month.  We ventured out to Wendy Hickok Photography for our studio spotlight.  It was a great sucess.  Wendy shared how she handles the client experience during the initial meeting.  She has a fabulous set up in her home that converts to client space when necessary.  She is, indeed, the Hostess with the Mostest by offering yummy food, drink, and conversation before they even discuss the wedding details.  Later, she casually brings them into another room that displays her work and albums.  She had some great tips for organizing each client she books and unique marketing materials throughout the process of the client relationship.

Thanks you, Wendy, for opening up your space to us very inquisitive photographers.

Our next studio spotlight tour is with Michael Clark Photography in Baltimore, MD on March 3, at 7pm - whenever.  Come meet Micheal and the rest of the PUG crew.  We love new faces.  We'll post additional information closer to the date.
